GLASGOW, Scotland, December 18, 2009 - Independent game-makers, Flag Hippo, have announced the first "Point & Touch" adventure game designed especially for the iPhone. Taking inspiration from desktop PC classics such as Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle, "All Fridges Are Psychotic" is the first of its kind on a mobile device. Combining humour and adventure with frustrating puzzles, the game is set to baffle and delight iPhone and iPod Touch owners across the globe.
The game follows frustrated filmmaker and scriptwriter, Julius Brown, as he tries to enter his script in a local contest judged by the famous movie director, Peter van Hoppen. Through some hilarious twists of fate, Julius employs the help of a time-travelling refrigerator (a reject from the Back to the Future trilogy) to get his script in on time.
All artwork for the game was completely hand-drawn by Glasgow musician Manda Rin. The Bis singer's unique and influential illustrations have graced many of her band's record sleeves, including those released on the Beastie Boy's Grand Royal label. Having had her own comic strip featured in numerous Japanese magazines, Manda Rin was the perfect choice for bringing the game to life.
All Fridges Are Psychotic is available from today.
